Course Description

There are things that every person working in these facilities should know to help these patients regain what was lost and prevent another stroke. One is that the national average from last known well to sending patient to the hospital is 12 hours for a stroke. At this point, we cannot do much for the patient other than try to recover what was lost. And, many times no one knows what exactly these patients need when they return home with home health or are discharge to a SNF or LTAC.

My program will help all professionals learn what they can do to help these patients returning from the hospital as well as how to recognize if these residents/patients are having a stroke and act quickly to minimize the damage.
